Engine stalled dash displayed "no bus"
Today while I was getting gas,the engine in my Ram stalled which I didn't notice. When fueling was done and I tried restarting the engine, it would start for .5sec and stall again. It did this twice. On the 3rd try, I noticed that the odometer read "no bus" but this time the engine started and stayed running. I did not notice if it said anything on the previous attempts. The CEL is not on. I have noticed that it stalls for no reason occasionally but it never displays the CEL.
Any ideas? The key on-off sequence doesn't work on my truck to display the codes so I may need a trip to the parts store for a diag but if this is a common issue I'd like t ohear about it.

the only way you could diagnose it that way is if you do in fact get a CEL..... hemiyellow however may no what the code no bus is trying to display... btw you shouldnt have your truck runnin while fueling...
Here is one post about that.

Could also be a bad wire somewhere, or... A bad PCM (yikes)

I saw that post but since it's for the Durango I didn't pay too much attention to it. Most of the posts on this subject seem to be something that happens and doesn't go away whereas mine went away and hasn't come back so far. I agree about it probably being a bad connection as a bad PCM would most likely stay bad.
Thanks.
Thanks.
