I own a 2003 2500 Quad Cab 4x4 Hemi. At 6000 miles the paint on thehood above the alternator began to lose its clearcoat luster. The dealer repainted and now at 34000 miles it isbeginning to do the same. The color of the truck is maroon. Has anyone experienced this?

sounds like ya need to invest in a heat mat on the bottom side of the hood...i haven't had this problem on any of my trucks.....course it sounds like there an underlying problem somewhere....sorry i cant really help ya too much, been a very long week lol
