How much weight for snow ?

5 40# sand bags in the back of mine....and 1 50# bag of salt just in case

I always have 4 -70# sandbags lined up right between the wheel wells....

Haven't had the pleasure of driving my Ram in the snow yet, but whenever I have a job up North, I used to keep 400 lbs of sand bags in my old Sierra's bed, only can remember 1 time I had a problem, and that's when I was pushed off the road by a Semi, and it was a 2x4..

That is a good question. I think I will be out to get some tomorrow after my little "skating" incident today. Luckily I was able to correct out of it, scared the crap out of me though.

definitely depends on where you put the weight... i believe the further back the better...

I couldn't decide where to put it so I did 4 in-between the wheel wells and 2 more behind them along the tailgate.
