i have a 02 dodge ram 2dr single cab...i am updating the audio system..i am pretty sure how to get the door panels off to replace the door speakers, but the 5.25' speakers in the back under the seatbelt i have no clue how to get those out...help?

 

You have to pull out those tab things not sure what there called you can go to a store like autozone or something and you can buy a tool that kind of looks like a screw driver but it pulls those things off

 

If it's like my 03, you will need to pull the seatbelt mounts off. I think it was a T50 or something close to that. If you have any hanging clips, you have to pull them out as well. To do this, pull just the front part of the clip and not the loop part. You will see a split along the edge. Be carefull as it is tight so go slow! Once it gets about a inch apart, then pull the whole thing out. You will see what I'm talking about once you do it. After you get all the hardware off, it should just pop off as two panels. You will also need to remove the back wall cover first as the side panel edges loop around the back side of the back panel. Hope that helps.
