also the 35's would need at least a leveling kit... your safest bet is just to get another set of 33's...

Stock on a Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 is 265/70/17 which is 31.5" tall.
Correct me if I'm wrong Hammer, but aren't those the the same hight tire? the 245 is the width and the 70 side wall height. So, those are the same height, the 4x4 is just wider?

The "70" is the percentage of sidewall height to section width. A 245/70 has a sidewall height of 171.5mm (6.75"). A 265/70 has a sidewall height of 185.5mm (7.3")

The 265/70 is a tad higher than the 245/70, the heights are rounded to the nearest half inch, the stock 4x4 is actually a little less than 3/4 of an inch higher. There are a number of good conversion charts on the internet, I just Googled one to get the answers...
