Hemi Cutting out.
On the highway today. went to pass, and at 3800 rpm's the ram cut out, like it was hitting the rev limiter. that is all the juice it gave me. Ran fine up to that point. i could still cruise at 70, etc. just no passing.
Drove around a little, put some chevron in it. Still did it. ran it for about another 100 miles. Now it quit, runs fine has all the power, rpm's climb high. What could cause this? No idiot lights came on, no check engine, temps normal. ran fine at low rpms, no knock or sputter. any ideas?
i was thinking bad gas? my parents borrowed it and put fuel in it from a less than reputable station
