Default Exhaust question.

I put 12" glass packs on my 02 1500 about 3 months ago. if i have the converter cut off and run true duals will it be louder and or make the dreaded check engine light come on?

If you remove the CATs it will be louder.

You will get a Check Engine light unless you buy sims.

You also stand the chance of warranty work difficulty.

Yes.

Converter removal will make it louder, then as the glass packs wear out, it'll get even louder.

With the way that inspections and federal laws are changing, I wouldn't suggest removing cats either, or at least if you do, don't throw them out......

Check engine *may* come on, as well. Your results may vary....

another way to prevent the light from coming on is the non foulers... but yea inspections would be a PIA
