Default Rust on rear axle

i remember Pappy_FB saying something about spraying some black paint of some type on his that looked real good. Anyone remember what it was? I can't find it on here anywhere.

Don't know what he used, but i just get cans of undercoating or bedliner from NAPA and just clean/scuff/spray with that. Looks good

Get some "rust converter".

It goes right on rust after you remove the flaky pieces and turns it into a black primer.

Then just use some black rustoleum to dress it up if you like.

take a look at por-15. It's the toughest stuff there is and what all of the auto restorers use.

i use rustoleum's Rust-tough in semi flat black. i usually take a pressure washer to the frame and axle's then spray that on the next day. I had it on my blazer for 4 years and never got a scratch on it, works great.
