Engine keeps dying. Help?
I've had problems with my idle but it hasn't died on me yet. Usually the idle will either drop straight to 500 or drop to around 400 and then shoot up to 600. I'm thinking it has something to do with the electronic TB...either the throttle body itself or the programming.
Alright well I tried something and its worked so far. I thought perhaps either my fuel or fuel line was clogged/had water in it/ or freezing problems so I bought some stuff that is a cleaner/water absorber. So far it hasn't tried to die, even after 30 min of driving. It normally dies within 10. We'll see how well that does. I still don't really think that was the problem. Maybe i'm just getting lucky. I have to wait until after christmas to take it to that dealership.
