a 6sp in a 2500 with the hemi is not faster than hemi/automatic in a 1500, You get more torque out of the 6sp, but it is not quicker.

I admit I hate automtics, and I admit MDS scares me and I also admit My truck is used 100% for work.

For mytruck usage MDS is not pratical, the fact my wife ( girl friend ) wants and can afford her own Ramis totaly awsome,But after driving this rental Ram I honestly did not see anydifferance inMPG than my own truck.

My Ram 2500 has dual ex ( relly improvedhighway mpg ) and a topper, which really help outH way MPG.

Now back toMDS,What turns it on/off? is it RPM? Shift paterns in the automtic, when in over drive? at idle, ect ???

Is thier a pre set group of 4 cy thatgo into mds modeand is the piston in a cylinder moving when in mds mode.

as Far as I know mds shuts of the injecter/spark plug in the cylinder...
