I agree with you, buying a truck simple on looks doesn't make sense. Don't get me wrong I really like my Dodge truck, but the Titan does outshine the Dodge in a few areas. Leg room in the Titan (Crew Cab) is better. The seats in the Titan Crew Cab are much more comfortable for the passengers. But as you stated the salesman I dealt with also was a jerk. The Dodge dealership sold me my 4X4 $12,000 below what I could have bought a Titan, plus I have free oil changes for life. Price was a major consideration in my final decision. If price wasn't a factor I would either have the 1 ton Dodge with the Cummins or a Chevy 1 Ton with the Duramax.

The titan is also the ugliest truck on the road, as is the entire nissan line, doesn't handle as good as the Ram, can't out accelerate my Ram (special thanks to the 2 titan owners who were willing to try), and definitely would not look as good as my Ram towing my classic Dodge to the drag strip.
As far as the titantalk forum, everyone who owns a Ram should visit at least once just for laughs. But hey thanks for coming by and setting us straight.[sm=smiley21.gif]

Handling, the Titan actually handles better than the RAM in tests. The speed as well, it seems faster in tests. Tell your friends to learn how to drive the Titan, because it is faster.
In my opinion Ram Is the best. I used to draive a '01 F-250 for work and my Cousin has a '02 Silverado. I myself used to own a '96 1500 Ram, and I never had problems with it. The most major thing i had to do was change the starter. I now own a '03 Ram California Hemi Express and I love it.
Quick ??. I have a 2004 Ram 1500 Quad (Lariet) with tow package, 1.92 gears. Tow capacity is rated at 8850 pounds. I am currently looking at getting a travel trailer and the dry weight is 7135 pounds. Do you think I would be pushing the tow capacity. It still gives me around 1600 pounds worth of luggage and stuff which I dont think I will be bringing that much. We sometimes go in to the mountains and I'm not sure if this would be too much load. Thanks in advance for the help.
Well I have had Ford, 2 Nissan's, 1 Chevy(bad idea), 1 Isuzu and still curently own a 82 cj7. This is my first Dodge and BY FAR the best car I've bought aside from my CJ. I'm not trying to sweet talk you, you spend your money and choose.
