What's throwing you off is the specification for two different types (eight each). The Hemi uses sixteen of the same type. Wonder why the 4.7L uses two different types?

yeah I was thrown because it specified the 4.7 having 16 and explaining where they were, as opposed to not saying anything about the 5.7. but why doesn't it say in the manual under the 102,000 miles to change the plugs on the 5.7?

The only service at 102K is change the oil and if it's a 4x4, lube the outer tie rod ends. The next change for the plugs will be at 120K

Wow! The interval is weird... Top row of plugs at 30K, side row at 102K, and absolutely nothing after 120K. One set of plugs good for 102K, but the other set has to be changed at 30K and then not again.Whoops, are the '08s only expected to go 140K or so? The top plugs are good forever after the change at 30K?

well it does say "EVERY" 30,000 and 102,000... but at 120,000 there's nothing about the 5.7 plugs... wtf is up with this owner's manual - no proofreading?

I gotcha. One set of plugs is good for 102K and you'll be on the fourth set of the others. Truly strange. That "102" is in at least two places. I don't think it's a typo (the KM are right, as well).
