i think all of thoes would look good. maybe a bull bar instead.. but it's your truck.. either way they both look good.

as i said in the other thread, i used a blow dryer, good ol' elboe greese, and some mineral spirits on a microfiber cloth rag.

i'm really board so i photoshopped a picture of your truck debadged.

Best method I've found for debagging is to use 20# mono or better yet about 50# of that braided line and cut the badge off. Then get a pinstripe eraser to gets what's left. Literally takes seconds and DOES NOT DAMAGE PAINT!!! Then a quick buff with polishing compound and wax and you're good to go.
Cost on the eraser is about $10-12 online or at an autobody supply shop. NAPA also sells them but for about $18...

Yea, the braided line (like Fire Line or Power Pro) cuts better but will also cut you. Use mechanics gloves. Then when you have it off, you'll have all that sticky, foamy, gluey crap left. That's where the eraser comes in handy. It fits in a drill, it's kinda like one of those big gummy erasers we had in first grade. Takes it right down to clearcoat in seconds. You really want to invest in a pinstripe eraser for debagging!!!

Any auto body / auto paint shop will carry them for around $10. They will also know exactly what you mean when you say "pinstripe eraser". It's a common item, origionally designed to put in a drill and walk down the side of the vehicle, instantly taking off the pinstripping. Like I said earlier, NAPA has them in stock as well, but you may have to explain it to the clerk, or take a picture with you. They also are a bit higher if I remember they get either $17.95 or $18.95 for it. But it's worth it even at their price. It'll literally take seconds to finish, where as rags, goo gone & a TON of rubbing will take at least 20 minutes to do. The eraser almost makes it impossible to do any damage to the clear coat. I think you'd have to literally lean on it till it smoked to do any damage.
