Like tdmopar said, coated shorties are more of a appearance mod...gains are minimal.
As far as if they'll fit...JBA has slightly different part num,bers for a 2006 Dakota 4.7 headers (1949S-2) versus a 2002 ram 4.7 (1949S-1). I'd call and ask JBA just to be sure..
