2002 dodge ram questions
Hi everyone, My name is Jonathan and I live in Charlottesville Virignia. I just purchased a 2002 dodge ram quad cab and I really like it. Other than the gas mileage. haha... I am planning on putting a flow master and a K&N air filter or RAM AIR kit in it soon.
I have a few questions and hopefully someone can help me out. I have 36,500 miles on the truck now and need to change the oil asap. Just curious, can I run mobile one synthetic with mobile one filter? Will this ruin my warranty at all? Is it ok to run synthetic in my truck with 36k on it?
Also question about the climate control... Is there a way I can let fresh in my truck through my climate control? I had a tacoma and you could switch over to fresh air that way you could heat your vehicle without running your fan. Been playing around with it but no luck.
I would apprecate any help, advice or comments you can give me.
Thanks very much

switching over to synthetic will not void your warranty, put it in and watch your truck run better
which reminds me I need to get some oil for my taco, been 6000 miles[sm=smiley5.gif]
now about the fresh air vent deal. I know exactly what you mean, I can do the same on my taco and feel the air moving through the vents, but I leave it on the second notch just to keep it from getting stuffy in the cab when I'm sitting in the horrid Atlanta traffic [:@], with the ram, I think it has to do with the way the body is designed and the inlet for the fresh air being somewhat blocked so the air will not flow in while moving. Now, I do feel a little air coming through the vents, but it's such a slow movement one could almost consider there to be no movement at all. this is one of those little things I dont put much thought into and just set the fan to 1.
