I just bought a 08 1500 Mega Cab. It came with the REF single cd w/sirius and 4 speaker sound. I asked dealer about trading out single cd for RAQ 6 disc cd player, they told me it wont work beacuse the RAQ requires 7 speaker system. Is this correct? I would really like to see the channels I am listening to on sirius. Thanks guys for any help.

well for the price of the indash deal that dodge has which is like what a 2k dollar option. you could get a whoopass in dash navi unit that would own the stocker and give you more than what you want for the same exact price.

 

Go aftermarket, it's cheaper, and will sound much better...

To answer your question, yes it will work. I had the standard single disc in both of my 06 Rams. I found 6-Discs on ebay for decent prices and installed them in both of my Trucks. RDS, Sirius, and CD Text info does display on them. I cant say for sure if the ones that I got are the RAQ, but they are the 6-Disc in Dash NO cassette. Good luck.
