Hello all

First time poster here.

I am specifically looking for an EGR Valve and Gasket for a 2005 Dodge Ram with 5.7. Does anyone know of a good parts place to get this part? I've checked many online parts suppliers, and all they seem to have available is the gasket - no valves available.

I checked with my local dealer and they are asking $77.60 for the valve alone. Sounds kind of pricey to me. Just thought I'd do some price checkingbefore buying.

bought mine from mopar/dodge dealer and took it to my local mechanic and he charged $20 to install it. Dodge wanted some insane amount of money for them to do it. Also, my mechanic said that there is no other off brand for the egr valve. Just mopar.

 

I found one at http://www.mopar-parts-dealer.com/parts.htmthey have it listed for 54.96.. and it appears they don't have the gasket.. WTF Don't know what the shipping cost is.. Hope this helps..
