Default 2008 Power Wagon Help

Gents - considering a 08 Power Wagon...Quad Cab. The truck has 4.56 gears. What kind of mpg can a guy expect with this setup runing empty? Any other feedback on this beast is appreciated. Thank you.

I have only had the PW for a short time, but so far I am getting 11 mpg city and 13 mpg hiway. Towing 7000 lb trailer I am getting average 10.5 mpg. Based on what other long term owners have reported, after break-in the mileage will improve about 2 to 3 mpg. Don't buy one for mileage, buy it for what it can do, just about everything. If mpg is important, get a diesel, but remember, you may pay less at the pump, but you are going to pay more to purchase and to maintain.

I am getting around 11.5 m.p.g. in the city. Have not gone on any highway trips yet to know what the highway mileage is. Good luck!

I have an 07 and average 13-13.5 for daily trips to work. Long hwy halls I can get near 15. It sort of depends on your driving habits and yes, mileage does get better after break-in.
