Default Leaking Power Steering

So I just found out from the dealer that my truck has a leaking PS hose from the cooler(?). I didn’t realize that the truck had a cooler on the power steering, but anyway, they want like 300.00 to replace a 30.00 hose. They said it was due to all the labor that goes into replacing and then bleeding the system. My question is how involved is it to bleed the PS system on the truck? What are the steps that I would need to do? Just for info, my truck is a 2003 Hemi Ram 1500 4x4. Thanks in advace.

Default RE: Leaking Power Steering

Mine was leaking a couple weeks ago (2003 also) where the cooler hose connects to the rack and pinion. I put new worm gear hose clamps on both hoses and have had no leaks since. My hoses only have 31,000 miles on them and I didn't see any damage or wear on them so I didn't replace them. $2.50, 5 minute repair. There's a lot on the net about this repair.
