Especially when there is $9,000 of equity on the trade. I'd either use the $9k trade and buy the truck or keep my trade and lease the truck with nothing down.

Leasing is great for things like Minivans, or sometimes they run great deals on prepaid leases (we got our 06 dakota for 2 years $2600 out the door.) But on a 44,000 dollar truck, you would be making some huge payments...
