OK, so I went to Radio Shack and had them test the battery in the fob. A little less than 1v, so I bought new ones. Installed them and hurredly went out to see my new and improved remote starter. Well, no better than before

Can't start outside of about 40' with a clear line of sight. Will be back at the dealer on Monday AM!

Someonementioned that there should be an antenna installed behind the rear view mirror, just checked and ......none. Should this have been installed and caould this be the problem?
