Default NERF BARS

I have a 2004 quad cab ram 4x4 and was thinking of putting some nerf bars on it. What brand do you prefer.

To me, nerf bars are nerf bars. They all do the same job. So why not save a little money and get the some what cheap nerf bars and then have money left over to buy your other mods.

I disagree... completely! I have seen trucks with nerf bars just 2 years old all rusted or busted up or falling off.
pay the money for a FULL poished stainless package or you won't be happy a few years down the road.
Many offer stainless bars and then ship it with crappy steel brackets... which rust out.. then your pretty stainless nerf bars fall off while you drive down the road! LOL
I went with Laverne... and am super happy with it... see what you think..

I agree with hemiwolf to a certain point. You can go with the cheapier model as long as you get the FULL poished stainless bars.

My bars look just like yours hemi. =P

I have the Iceburg Stainless steel nerf bars, I am just taking it back to the installer for warranty work to get the mounting hardware modified so that they are stronger. Other than that they are great.

Alot of people overlook the mounting brackets and bolts - make sure they are not going to rust while the nerf bar, of whatever price, stays in good shape.

I used the Nasta all stainless (incl the mounting hardware) on mine and love em. Got them off of Ebay for less than $200.

I got the Westin Platinum series. A bit expensive, but not too bad. From reading around they seemed to be the best to me, and they're holding up great so far.
