Default keyless entry

I am looking to get a keyless entry system on my ram but I am not sure if i can and/or how much a good price will be (i have power-locks if that helps). Should I go to a dodge dealership and ask them if I can do this to the truck..and what is a good price for something like this to you guys?

Go aftermarket. You'll get a better unit for a lot less.

Some of the remote starters or alarm's have their own keyless entry. I had one on my 03. It was MUCH better than the factory deal because I had a good alarm system and a 2 way remote start.

what's aftermarket?
A system you'd pick up from an autoparts or electronics store.

You can leave out the 'aftermarket', but other than that yeah. I don't know if you can get just a keyless entry unit though. It'll probably be a remote start/keyless entry, and if you want, alarm combined.

A factory keyless entry retails for about $100.00 from a dealer and the dealer will have to program the fobs to work after it is installed. Dodge part # 82207153. It is something that is much easier to install than an "aftermarket" one. Install and programming can be done in less than 30 minutes. PM me with any questions....DAVID
