I have an 08 with about 6000 miles on it, so I am about out of the break-in period. I was wondering what I get out of chip. It seems superchips would fit my needs just fine. I don't have any mods except for a drop in K&N. From things I can see, an exhaust pretty much just gives you a better sound to your truck. I am loving the mileage I am getting. I have learned to keep my foot out if and I can get around 17-18 city. I saw 25 the other day, but I am thinking the overhead had to be wrong. But, I was making a few lights. I was wondering what I will get out of a programerr and which ones will void my warranty. I Know whatthe websites say, but I would like actual input form people who actually use them.

 

i would get an exhaust if i were u, they look great the sound awsome and they cost about the same as a chip, and get u just as much if not more mpg

 

if you're getting 17-18 and 25 mpg in the city, I would have it checked at the dealership, sounds like the mistakenly put a 4 banger under the hood...

Anyway, the superchips improved my average MPG around 2.5mpg, bringing me close to 19mpg with mostly Highway driving.

 

i got a bullydog power pup they say 30hp 50 tq.... exhaust does more then sound..an it adds to all the other stuff you do to your truck from what i was allways told
