Crooked bed??
Interesting timing -- Thursday I was at the local dealer getting some work on my C. Bored out of my skull, I was wandering around the lot. There was a Cool Vanilla 1500 QCSB there, holding up his paw and waving
. Naturally, I had to look closer. Nice lookin' truck, but a bit too much, since mine's paid for. Anyway, the right front fender and the passenger side front door were obviously out of line. If you laid a ruler along the fender, that door was a quarter-inch inside that line. Later, just for fun, I showed it to a salesman. To my astonishment, they pounced on it! It was taken into the body shop and was still there when I left. Anyway, itisn't only beds that come out mis-aligned. This truck, BTW, came from the St. Louis plant.

Quick update: I finally got it into the dealer after having to skip my last appointment...it's still there right now. They said it's more of the cab being out of alignment then the actual bed being crooked. There's a few other things they have to look at beforeI get it back (creeking brake pedal, interior pieces popping out, lots of carbon in the tailpipe and the typical surging at idle). Hopefully I get her back before the super bowl
thats funny my truck bed is fine but I have a creeking brake pedal as well . could you let me know what they do to the pedal to fix it so i can do the same .
thanks a bunch!!
