Default 20" tires

I bought the truck (03 quad) in June. I had it aligned in August. I thought Inoticed some cupping of the front tires in December so I had the tires rotated.

I immediatly noticed it was pulling to the right. A few days later i swaped the front tires and it was pulling to the left. My take is I have a tire issue.
I have the 20" goodyear wrangler HP's.

Can I change the front two or do I need to change all four? The tires are in good shape with plenty of tread.

I had heard that all four needed to be changed with 4wd but I wasnt sure if it was a myth.

My next question. If I need to change all four do you have any recommendations? I am in NE and I was disappoint with the the HP's in the snow but I like the dry traction and the looks.

As long as they are the same height you can change only two. If your gonna change sizes, you have to do all 4.

Your not alone, everyone hates the HP's. I reccomend some toyo, niitto, or BFG tires

Thats good to know.

I did a search on tirerack.com and the prices were better than expected.

Any problems with different brands onthe front and rear?

I may switch them to the back and try to geta little more use out of them.

Any chance the goodyear HP's are directional?
