Hello, another new FNG here and I need help. I recently swapped out a stock for anewer stock transmission. The new trans. works great, but, when I turn the truck off, the starter and ring gear are whacking together with a sharp clunk and the starter gear is chewing up the engine side edge of the ring gear. I've never experienced this before. Any help is appreciated. Hopefully before my starter eats itself or something else. Any Idea's??

Sounds like it needs some shims in the starter mount. Either something's slightly different, or they got left out at reassembly.
