have a few ?s i will keep them all in one post. but here goes. thinking about getting a new 08 2500 unfortunely cant afford a loaded up one but looking at ordering a plain jane one but i cant find any pics of the grey bumpers that come on the base model. all the pics i have seen are chrome or painted to match teh truck. Just wondering what they look like and maybe splurge on the stx package.
Next ? I am trading my 06 ram in air bag light is on this has already been fixed once under warrenty anyway of getting this off long enough to trade in?
one more anyone know if 06 tail lights fit into an 08 not really fond of the new style?

 

From what I've read, the tail lights will fit physically, but there's something about the connection that makes them not interchangeable. Not sure about that yet, though. Not enough posts about this. You're right, the older style is better, IMO. New ones too much like Chevy. Until I read all your post, I was going to suggest getting an '06, since used will get you more goodies for less money. Are you saying the airbag issue has returned or wasn't resolved? You'll take a beating trading so soon.

 

06 lights will physically fit, but the wiring and controls are not the same. THe led panels in the 06 are square and the 07 and up, so far, are round... square peg, round hole...

 

ok thks , ya i know i will take a beating but i do alot of towing and want the 2500 and my warrenty is done on the 06 bought it in 05. NO the air bag issue was resolved with a new sensor but has returned about after 15,000 miles. so no pics of the base bumper? I cant find any any where. thks guys

 

its the same as the 1500 if you've seen them on here...

 

no i havent seen them , i have searched on this forums and google i have yet to come across any plain dark grey bumpers on any ram. maybe i suck at searching dont know
