Sound wise, I would suggest laying some fatmat or dynamat in the truck. You can get 100sqft off of ebay, and it will really help with the drone and road noise. The difference between my dads untreated ram and my sound treated ram is significant. Just my $.02

I can't give much input cause I've always gone with Flowmaster because I like mine loud!

Curious, though, would someone like to fill me in on this Vararam Hemi Under Glass system? I can't say that I'm very familiar.

The Varam definately looks cool...congrats on that.

In my opinion, a free'er flowin' exhaust and more HP but with factory sounds levels is sorta a contradiction. More power = more noise....but then I'll have to admit I've never been one to frown on "pipe music" coming from a great exhaust setup...i.e. a Viper, Ferrari, or old school muscle car at full tilt sounds glorious to me

All that said, I went with a magnaflow (big block style) to avoid irritating the wife too much (happy wife = happy life). It still makes more noise than stock, so if you truely don't wanna hear it but want the performance gain then I'd recommend the magnaflow installed at a muffler shop, then drive straight to a car audio place and have 'em sound deaden (dynamat, etc.) your cab
