Great Budget Mods
My best budget mod yet... went over to see my waverunner mechanic after I got the Ram.... he wanders behind the garage, comes back with a set of bedrails that had been sitting outside. He gave them to me, all it took was 10 mins with some polish and a rag....
i tihnk what many have already forgotten about is SPEAKERS! this can make a huge huge huge diffrerence in your truck. you can get pretty swwet system for not much, a really good head unit will run you about 200-250 (pioneer is the best i've found), do that one month, late add on a few 6x9's in the door a nice pair for 150ish, a few rear speakers for about 120ish, but do the CD player first! if not it'll sound awful until on stock speakers and the head unit puts out too much power. but these are easy mods to do! ALSO paint your brake callipers a cool color (i did red) for like 10 bucks. paint rear differential cover (silver) another 5 bucks, fog lights for about 100 bucks, spray in liner (maybe a little more than 250 but a great investment.
head unit -270
tint - 80
flows - 250
6x9's - 160

bed rails - 60 (WILL SELL, i'm looking for a black tool box and to ditch the rails they are in great shape . . for short bed truck)
painted brake callipers
painted rear diff.
fog light behind grill ( i still think i was the first to do this, but it looks awesome on all!)
