Hopped in my 06 1500 std cab/sb V6 the other day and as I stepped on the brake and put the key in, the horn comes on and stays on! I don't have an alarm or factory remote unlock, etc. Wiggled the wire at the horn and it went out, but the dome light wouldn't go out and the dash said door ajar and bed light on which they weren't. Kept dinging at me to close the door as I drove! Had to unhook the battery to get it to reset and has been fine since. Been a little rainy here in So Cal if that matters. I hope this doesn't happen again, but if someone knows if this is a specific problem, I would like to get it taken care of now.....

Sounds like something got a little wet or damp and is shorting out. Is there any moisture in the fuse box?

 

1) disconnect negative
2) chill for a few minutes
3) reconnect negative
4) profit...

Haven't looked at the fuse box yet; starting to rain again right now. Maybe Monday.
