ive been doin some searches on diff aftermarket websites, and very few have updated their systems to 08 models, jsut wondering if anyone knows how long until everyone updates, thanks

 

I 2nd this. I have like 210 miles on my 2 day old 2008 SXT and I wanna buy some crap.

 

try ebay the have headlights and just got some smooth plug and play led taillights. as far as the body, fender flares and pretty much any thing after the front fender search the 02-05 models.

 

i think the first thing id do if I was you is replace the hideous taillights to like an 06 style or possibly aftermarket. Then if you have the black bumpers id get them painted body color or possibly buy new chinese ones (rear bumper is like 150 bucks chrome). Then maybe get rid of the work truck wheels (find a buddy who's getting his truck repod and make a deal). Then nobody would know your driving a 13k dollar truck. itd look like a 30 thousand dollar one.

As far as performance, id start with a big chrome exhaust tip, and then decide how radical you want it

i bought a set of 17" stock dakota rims 5 spoke for 250.00 shipped and paid 60.00 to have my tires mounted best thing i have done so far. you would be amazed at how much getting rid of tose steelies will do for your truck.
