Default transfer case linkage bushing replacement

Hi there. I'm new to the forum and no mechanic, but I see a problem and thought someone out there may be able to help me.

I own a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD crew Cab pickup. While driving, I heard a bang and then continuing scraping noise whenever in motion. I searched and discovered that the shifter used to change from 2WD to 4WD was just floating back and forth. Going underneath, I discovered a linkage that goes from that shifter to the transfer case just hanging down loose. On the transfer case end of the linkage arm is a rubber (?) bushing which pushes into a hole in the metal arm that then enters the transfer case. That rubber bushing had pulled out of the hole and appears worn. I was easily (seems like too easily) able to push it back in and now the noise is gone, but I am afraid that it will pop out again unexpectedly or almost certainly when I go to shift into 4 WD. I've searched for the bushing on the web, but cannot seem to find a part called "transfer case linkage bushing" or anything like that, nor can I find a schematic.

Can anyone suggest where to obtain this part? Where I can find a schematic on line? Do I have to go to the local Dodge dealer to find it?

Thanks, Bruce
