Default Mechanical Dumps

I was talking to my dad the other day. He said back in the days of telegraph road racing they used to use dumps on their cars. He told me about the mechanical dumps he fabricated for his 427 ss impala. So with a little ingenuity and some sweat I have decided to so the same thing.... Not sure how its going to work but I am gonna try.... Besides I have already bought the Borla headers and exhaust system package so if i F-it all up it wont matter. My plan is to place two mechanical dumps(after cat) that are cennected to a small gear box with a rod crank that extends out right underneath the driverside door..... then all I will have to do for open headers is grab my crank so to speak and open them bitches....close it when I am done..... If this works then I will more then likely alter my new borla system with these when I install that...... I will take pictures just as soon ans I decide to start this project....later guys....
