hey, check this out... https://dodgeforum.com/m_1066794/tm.htm

most people agree throttle body spacers on these trucks are worthless. chip and intake seem to be the quickest gains for bolt ons, there are also a TON of posts on which one of those is the best. I am going with volant for my CAI and edge for my programmer.

Check out the link redbeardmcg posted. Definitely chip and intake will give you the most bang for your buck and both are a quick and easy install. Chip should take about 20 minutes with the Edge (most time spent installing the pod and routing the cable) and about an hour for the intake.

Seriously, I was very happy with my tuner. Along with more power, I got much better throttle response and can change shift points, tire size, read codes, etc. I've had it installed for 5 days, and my gas mileage has been going up a little every day.

180 degree thermostat
cold air intake, seems like any will help
premium gas (makes bigger response than you might think)

with jsut those 3 things i went from bogging from the line and weak acceleration to burning the tires andtaking off like a scared rabbit up to about 100 (that is as fast as ive got)

the ram comes with 3" exhaust from the factory, y did u go ssmaller?

best bang for the buck from
Nitrous
SCT Tuner
camshafts

2 to 3% gain from headers

ported cylinder heads are the 'heart' of any engine build up
and the 5.7 Hemi responds to relatively easy clean up
like David Vizard shows how to do at the end of this very good article:

http://www.popularhotrodding.com/tec...iew/index.html

no measureable gain from
CAI,
180 degree thermo,
throttle body spacer

So you're saying the copy of the Dyno chart that K&N sends you with your intake kit is a lie? B/c if so, that's a big call. They claim 10.96 peak HP gain.
