blinker problem

Default blinker problem

i have 04 1500 4.7 4x4. when turn on my left blinker the right one turns on. when i turn on the left nothering happens. when i turn on the hazards the left on works.
any ideas????

There is a front body control module FCM attached to the fuse box under the hood. Check that your connections are clean. You'll have to just about remove the fuse box from the battery tray and body to get to it. That didn't work for me, however that was most peoples advice here.

If you whack the bottom of the steering column when it is doing it does it fix it? If so it may be the connections in the steering column itself. I cleaned all my connectionsin the column and added someDielectric grease to all the connections. So far so good it's been a week and no problems. If it does it again I am going to guess its the Mulifunction switch thingy (the arm that controls the blinkers, brights, and windshield wipers).

Also try the "search" function under blinkers, or turn signals. There are a couple of posts allready.
