Default Transfer case grease fitting.

I tried to find the grease fitting on the front of the transfercase but could not find it . Anybody know anything about it? It says in the manual it should be greased at every oil change on the 2500/3500.

Ya, your right, its hard to find at first.

To start with, you'll need a grease needle--it looks like a giant hypodermic needle with a grease zerk on the end.

Then you'll need to be able to lift the passenger side front wheel in order to rotate the front drive line.

The zerk you're looking for is just off center of the universal joint. Someone here, I think was drew did a great pic of it a long time ago. I'll try to find it and post a link.

Oh, ya---and a flashlight!!!!!!!! You WILL need it.

Ok--found it, I was right, Drew did it
