ok guys on my work truck (03 4.7 w/ 3.55 gears stock) many times after i park and everything is cutt off, i hear a popping noise from the rear end, and a lot of times its after the radiator makes a funny hissing noise. any clues? PLEASE HELP!!

 

come on, somebody has to know somethin, its like a loud pop that sort of echoes and sounds like its coming out of the rear diff

check/change differential fluid?

 

but why would it pop when nothing is even running? and it does it for about 10 to 15 minutes after

 

Could it be something in the rear braking system (brakes releasing) or the exhaust cooling down
