I had a '98 2nd gen with the 5.9 in it. Great motor, never had any issues at all except for the fact that with a 3" body lift and 35" tires, that thing rarely saw better than 10 mpgs despite the fact that I had a CAI and dual exhaust all the way back from the manifolds...
