Drivability
Looks like Dodge might have picked up a bad habit from corporate parent Daimler Benz: Half baked software.
I have twice had my cruise control quit working in my 04 Hemi... the light comes on but the vehicle just decelerates as if the system is not engaged. Shutting the truck off for 30 seconds fixed the problem both times...
Today I went to pass a semi and my truck got to 55 and would go no faster, like it had hit a rev limiter.... shutting the truck off for 30 seconds fixed the problem.
Either we have a software issue (my service department has said there is a new version out that should fix the problem... flash scheduled for wednesday), or there is something intermitently wrong with my VSS... which would explain both problems too.
Myabe Kenne Bell's problem with driveability issues is not that they cannot craxk the software but that the software sucks...
