"Auto" 4x4 Option
Hi everyone new to the forums. First post here.
I just ordered a 08 Laramie hemi 4x4 and am curious if it will come with the auto 4x4 option on the ****. I have looked at several 07-08 rams and cant figure out which package or which options you get the auto mode with.
Your help is much appriciated.

The phrase you're looking for is the "Shift on demand" transfer case. That's the one with the AUTO mode.
"Shift on the fly" is like what I have on my 03, with just a 2wd / 4Hi / 4Lo ****.
I ironed that out recently when looking for a new Ram for my grandfather. Some SOB bought it off ebay right before he was ready to get it. It was a white 08 quad cab 4x4, Laramie, with the buckets/console interior, navigation, and of course the "shift on demand" transfer case. Now we've got to keep looking!
