4x4 light flashes

4x4 light flashes

I just bought a 03 Ram 4x4....When I try to shift into 4x4 low the light flashes and doesn't seem to engage? My four high seems to be working fine. any ideas of what it is and how much it will cost to fix????

you must be in netural, and not moving. should go in ok!

Yah I was in drive and moving the few times I tried it.....I will give that a try...

Do you understand how low is low? It's something you certainly wouldn't want to experience while moving.

Read the manual before you blow something up!

Yeah, man. Just come to a complete stop and put it in neutral. Low range is real low.

It says in the manual to be going under 5 miles an hour or so...To me that just means stop.
