I would like to connect a aftermarket flashing led in more visible area on the dash? to deter possible teft? can it be spliced in to the instrument cluster led? if so, how? or is there an alternative way to connect the led? appreciate yall inputs

 

Just go to radio shack and buy one of the red flashing led's. Then, just hard-wire it into a hot wire and you're set. It will always blink - system armed or not. You could also throw a switch on it to turn it off when you're driving.
