i drove my dads z71 chevy and he blew the moter off roading so he droped a 6.4l in it, and that thing would implant your head in the back window on take off. but i also beat mustangs in my truck so thats not saying much, but there is still alot that will beat me.

 

yeah, my dads escalade with the new 405hp vortec is pretty fun to drive. i steal it all the time when i go visit them.

 

Personally I'm waiting for the new Silverado SS, assuming it comes out with the 500 - 600 hp that's rumored. In my personal opinion, a Corvette engine would be more reliable than a Viper engine. That's about the only reason I didn't buy the SRT-10. And I drove the SRT-8 GC and really wante the wife to get one, but she opted for the H3, which is cool in its own regard. Oh, and the Tundras are quick, but they feel like a tin can to me. And who wants to drive a tin can? Not to mention the front end looks too short.

 

yeah i drove my brothers z71 and that thing flies!!!!! But then again, i only have a 4.7 lol. I didn't buy this truck for speed though......if I were to buy something for speed....well i dont know till the new challenger comes out .
