Default Fluid changes

I just bought a 03 ram and a guy i work with said i should have the tranny flushed and have the differential fluid changed.that might be a good idea butI have heard some conflicting things about having your tranny flushed what do you guys think? the truck has 70,000 miles on it.

I've read more against than for tranny flushing. Most say if it's done early and often, then continue. Since you may not be able to learn the maintenance history, I'd say skip it (change the fluid, it's relatively easy to do). Probablyshould change the plugs, the motor oil (of course), clean the throttle body, check/change the air filter. You don't say which motor you have. The Hemi's oil is easy to change, the 4.7 a bit more difficult, due the the filter location. BTW, congrats on the new ride!

Yeah and your mileage. Don flush it, just change it out. You could do more damage than good with a flush at this stage in the game

Try these sites and do it yourself. I did and it will save you hundreds if not thousands over the life of your truck.
