Default Superchips Question

I just my Superchips tuner today, bought it off ebay. Couldn't wait to try it so, I filled up with 91 octane fuel and started the programming. Everything was going smoothly until after the saving stock, it says tuner requires an update and it gave me some numbers to write down. Great, now I have and tank full of octane and it's still programmed stock. I tried to phone them but, they are closed already. My question is how the heck is this thing going to get an update when I only have one cable for plugging into the truck. Thanks for any info..

Yes I did look there. I have the MaxMicro Tuner. I don't think mine is covered in there.

You are going to have to send it to them to be updated. Only the Flashpaq and new Cortex can be plugged into your PC and updated over the 'net...
You probably got a very early model that doesn't include your PCM in the rom. As long as the unit was unlocked before you got it and only requires an update, I believe there is no charge for the service...
