Just curious....I read on the forums a few months ago that SCT might be coming out with a programmer for the 3.7L v6 engines? I'm not sure of what the news is but does anyone happen to know if that rumor is true?

I would just save up for a Hemi and not worry about the programmer.

Hopefully they don't deal with Microsoft, The truck would always crash!

I'm currently flashing '96 to '02 trucks right now. Older pcm 4.7's work. But the NGC stuff which is '03+ is almost ready. They will be releasing hemi support first then working on the 4.7's. The 3.7's should be default work with the hemi or 4.7 release. You'll probably have to buy one and then work with the tuner and SCT to get it 100%. That's my guess anyway. Won't know till you try it. I'd wait till the hemi stuff is out first though.

yeah makes the most sense...thanks for the insight....I was also considering buying a 5.7L hemi engine from the get-go....other issue is that I'm not exactly sure where I could order one...
