Ha, i came to my granparents today and my grandpa was pulling my 5500 pound horse trailer with his 4.0 litre V6 ranger...It was really funny to see. He had a mower and a bunch of tires and other oddds and ends in it. probably another 1000pds. He didnt wanna wait for me to get home, so he did it himself.. wish i coulda got a pic with his ranger pulling a 3 horse trailer with tack room.

I pulled 5 - 6,000 lbs a few times with my old 3.0L Ranger. Didn't go so well.... but it was doable.

That's why I don't buy used. Especially since I only buy trucks or sports cars. If you buy my used car or truck I feel very very sorry for you.

I just looked at the sticker on the trailer, its GVWR is 8300pds, and its max gvwr is 12,500. I think he was a little over the tow capacity
