Yeah, i never learned the righty tighty lefty loosey till i was in highschool. Thank goodness. I always thought it was dumb. I just learned the clockwise counterclockwise method on the farm, and it was a lot easier.

But yes, on my06 they are reverse threaded also.

 

hmmmm... I know I'm not the brightest crayon in the box, but I just went outside b/c this was bugging me after reading it, Counter-Clockwise loosened the bolt, and clockwise tightened it. The bolts that came with my nerf bars did not work, I had to go to a hardware store to get some better m12 bolts, and they are NOT reversed threaded. Nor are my original bolts that came out of my truck... Surely I'm not crazy here...

 

Must be an 06 thing. My 04 is clockwise tighten, right handed thread.
