04 Hemi Frozen throttle sensor
When it gets below 32 degrees the throttle sensor freezes! The engineers suggest to wait 10 to 15 minutes until the engine warms up...no other fix for this problem. Has anyone else heard of this?

They had a recall for freezing of the cable last year on the 4.7L Durangos. How does a sensor freeze? I'm confused.

Wait, we could be on to something!?
I suppose I'm not sure what type sensor is used for throttle position. I was under the impression that the sensor was free of mechanical parts. Unless by freezing they simply mean stuck in one position or setting. But physically freezing??
All I know is there is a box that contains the throttle conponents and a sensor not a cable. I did not wash the engine...I had about 1,000 miles on the truck when it first happened...I was told condensation was most likley the problem...Dodge said it did not know how to fix this problem! It is happening to about 1,000 trucks as of last January.
Did they replace the Throttle Sensor/Actuator?
If not, I would park it in their showroom until they did.
